Surfer boy Kaidens 1st Birthday!

Made this one for my Nephew Kaidens 1st birthday, the sand is completely edible ( I made it so I know what wen in it! ) looked very real though- as the party was at Phillip Island I had everyone thinking it was real sand- the kids loved it! The icing was butter cream frosting made to look like fondant and the cake was mudcake- it traveled 3 hours in the car with only minimal disruption! so we were happy about that.  I am getting prouder of each cake I make! He has legs under the sand too- The sand was a last minute idea! The birthday boy began devouring the cake with his hands as soon as he got a chance it was gorgeous!

Cruzes First Birthday

This was the second cake I made- I worked so hard on this cake and was so proud of the results considering I had no idea what I was doing and had none of the necessary tools! or materials (liquid food dye used here....lol). This was a two tier chocolate mudcake, with fondant icing and figurines, Its turned out great but I know I would do alot better if I were to do it again. The monkey was a really cute touch have a sneak of some cake before the candles were blown out- and the little safari boy is meant to be Cruze. It was a wonderful 1st birthday cake for him.

Naming Day Cake

This is the first cake I made, it was for my sons Naming Day- it was chocolate mudcake, with buttercream frosting and surrounded by a chocolate on the sides, It was delicious! We stuck with same theme for the day, the little birds in the tree. It was very cute!
